Who Are The "Psychotic Trolls" That "Now Have a Shitload More Time on Their Hands"?

The Libertarian blogger Willis Hart frequently posts cryptic commentaries on his blog, although I do have a good guess as to what he means by the following...

My Theory as to WTF Willis is talking about?

Early last month Willis restricted comments to team members (thereby ending what he called "secret comments").

The result being that I can no longer post on his blog. This (I am quite positive) is what he's talking about. I am one of the "psychotic trolls" he is referring to.

But he refers to "trolls" (plural). Which causes me to wonder... who are the others? Is he referring to specific people... possibly Rational Nation and also possibly Flying Junior? Or are these other trolls figments of his imagination?

In any case, Willis has finally obtained the perfect echo chamber he so obviously desired. Now he can pretend that *if* anyone (beside himself) reads his blog, they're all nodding their heads in agreement. Or seething in anger because they know Willis is right (although they'd still like to post their delusional comments disagreeing with the sage Hartster).

Thank goodness Willis can now post, knowing he's 100 percent correct in whatever idiocy he writes. And not be distracted with the chore of deleting a bunch of "psychotic troll" comments (comments from anyone who disagrees with him... I'm guessing).

Although he might have convinced himself that, given that I can't comment, I've left and no longer read his blog. Which is why I have a "shitload more time on my hands". But obviously I didn't leave and I am still reading (this blog being the proof).

How Many "Team Members" Does The Contra O'Reilly Blog Have?

My guess is one.

The Libertarian Willis Hart recently began restricting commenting to "team members", but since that time, it appears to me that zero comments have been left (I see none), hence my guess that Contra O'Reilly has but one "team member". That singular team member being Willis Hart.

Further proof that Willis is the only team member, IMO, are posts such as the following.

Willis Hart: On that Doltish Boston Sports Reporter (I Refuse to Mention His Name) Who Recently Claimed that UConn Was Bad for Women's College Basketball (the Fact that They're too Dominant, I Guess) And I'm sure that he would have said the same exact thing if BC or UMass was dominating. Yeah, right. (4/3/2016 AT 5:01pm).

So, how the hell is anyone reading this supposed to know WHO this "doltish Boston sports reporter" is? One possible answer is that, seeing as Willis is the only team member (and he already knows who he's talking about), he does not care if someone else reads the post and has no idea who he's referring to (they can't comment anyway).

Not that I care who this person is. I couldn't care less, given the fact that I find sports competitions put on as "entertainment" to be perplexing. I mean, I can comprehend interest *if* the "fan" knows one (or more) of the participants. Otherwise, why should I care which group of strangers is victorious?

Anyway...

If anyone happens to read this who has also received and accepted a "team member" invitation from the Hartster... I'd be interested in hearing about it. Until then (or until I see anyone actually leave a comment), I'm sticking with my "team of one" hypothesis.

1285 Days Of Virulent Idiocy (The Echo Chamber Achieves Maximum Echoness)

It has been 3 years, 6 months, and 7 days since the Libertarian blogger Willis Hart banned me from his blog (on 8/30/2012). Because he had had enough of my "virulent idiocy". "Virulent idiocy" being code for truths that contradict the misinformation Willis would rather believe (OST #15).

This banning did not stop me from commenting, however. I'd still stop by on a regular basis and leave a comment or two. Simply because I did not like being allowed to comment for several years and then being suddenly banned. Also because his blog is PUBLIC and he allows comments from anyone. Although he has enabled moderation, so nothing I submit is published.

Yesterday however (3/7/2016), that ended. Early this morning I attempted to submit a comment and noticed the following...

Comments on this blog are restricted to team members. You're currently logged in as Dervish Sanders. You may not comment with this account. You will be asked to sign in after submitting your comment.

Then, when I tried to submit a comment anyway, I was confronted with the following...

Your current account (****@gmail.com) does not have access to view this page. Click here to logout and change accounts.

Change accounts? No, that wouldn't help, since Willis forgot to send me an email inviting me to be a team member. Or, perhaps he just doesn't want any more comments that have the effect of disrupting his echo chamber?

Anyway, given the fact that he made it clear that he didn't want anymore comments (with few exceptions) awhile ago (when he banned one of his former best buds), I wonder what took him so long to (essentially) turn off commenting?

Willis Hart Moronic Whine Re "Secret" Comments Submitted To His Blog

Idiocy from the Libertarian blogger Willis Hart in which he whines about his public receiving comments! How dare anyone attempt to disrupt his echo chamber!

Willis Hart: On the Engaging in Behavior (Unsolicited and Unwanted Blog "Commentary") that if it Were Any Other Sphere of Life (Phone Calls, Letters, Showing Up at a Person's House, etc.) Would Probably Get You Arrested, Convicted, and Put in Jail but Because this Shit Can Be Done in Secret it Shamelessly and Moronically Continues Unabated... What's that they say, that you can only judge a person's morals by how they behave when no one is watching? Hey fellas, NO ONE IS WATCHING. (1/14/2016 AT 4:25pm).

WTNPH has referenced other comments that went unpublished in the past.

For example...

Willis Hart: I was obliquely accused by some pompous and marginally literate boob (with multiple handles, no less) of "coming out early tonight." It was an almost passive aggressive comment and, while it clearly wasn't as nasty as some of the other bullshit that's flied of late, I just don't tolerate it anymore and so I've banned his sorry ass. Arrivederci schmuck. (9/26/2015 AT 8:20pm).

Not sure who it might have been that submitted that comment (if anyone. Maybe Willis made it up or imagined it). It was not me, however. Although I have submitted a number of comments to Willis' blog that he decided not to publish. So he might be talking about me. Actually, I think it's quite likely he's talking about me, as I frequently stop by his blog to read and leave a brief comment or two.

I'd like to point out, however, that Willis Hart's blog is open to the public and by designating his blog as PUBLIC he is soliciting comments. Secondly, the ONLY reason these comments are "secret" is because Willis does not publish them! (Obviously if he published them they wouldn't be secret).

If he only wants agreeable comments he could change his blog settings so that only approved people could comment. Or he could make it so that only approved people could even SEE his blog. He is choosing to not adjust these settings and thus leaving his blog open for PUBLIC view and PUBLIC comment (and soliciting comments with these settings that he selected!).

In regards to his assertion of phoning, sending letters to and showing up at the home of someone being analogous to submitting comments to a PUBLIC blog - I say bullshit. His home is private, his blog is not (by HIS CHOICE!).

IMO him selecting these settings (making his blog PUBLIC) is analogous to him placing a sign outside his home inviting people in to look around. And, if he did that (invite anyone in with a sign), the police would tell him to take a hike if he attempted to have people who took him up on his offer arrested. The cops would tell him to take down the sign and lock his door.

BTW, I hereby declare to the world that I submit comments to Willis Hart's blog... thereby making me commenting on his blog not a "secret". And, while nobody may be watching this blog (OST), it too is open to the PUBLIC - so that invalidates his judging of morals by how someone behaves when no one is watching (since anyone can view this admission, thereby making it a public admission).

On The Bloggers Who Have Departed The Willis Hart Echo Chamber (AKA The "Circle Jerk Society") & Their Reasons

Willis Hart, a Libertarian blogger who used to call himself "moderate", has banned a number of people from his site "Contra O'Reilly". A few others departed due to Willis' tolerance for idiocy from the resident ass-kisser, a dishonest individual known as dmarks (but whose real name is Dennis Marks).

One of these bloggers who departed the blog of Willis made the following observations before he left, never to return.

Mordechai: Oops, D marks has been exposed as not very honest, will will do something about it, or just deny it to continue to protect his small cabal of approved bloggers he NEVER seems to question, no matter what they do or say, while attacking ONLY left leaning bloggers for some strange reason. Long history of this one with many many left leaning bloggers attacked repeatedly then banned with no one from the right ever questioned let alone chastised, or ever (gasp) banned for their hate filled comments like D marks has done here. Will your moderate veil is slipping and your real ideology is showing once again (12/10/2012 AT 4:33pm).

Mordechai doesn't say specifically that he's leaving, but I don't recall him ever commenting again. In any case, he is 100 percent accurate with his remarks. Specifically the one about dmarks not being honest. Also the comment about Lefty bloggers being attacked (by dmarks, usually) and then Willis banning those people. That, or they leave. And finally, the oh-so-true closer concerning Willis not being a Moderate.

Another blogger who could not stand to stick around Willis' blog (and specifically said he was leaving) left the following comment (his last one).

John Myste: Your website was fun to watch and occasionally participate in, but alas, it is no longer. It has been dominated by the repeated assertions of a completely irrational man, who insists on making up straw men and refuting them. I can tell from his responses on other sites that he now intends to do this to any relevant comment I make, which makes all comments pointless... Without Dervish, DMarks will simply dominate the site with his straw man fiction. In other words, the site is now about the creativity of DMarks mind, which interests me not at all. Farewell... (9/5/2012 AT 8:35am).

Mordechai was still around at this juncture (the comment I opened with was made 3 months later), and his response was to write "and widdle willy loses another honest blogger to protect his circle jerk society".

What is oh-so-true about Myste's comment is that the irrational dmarks has been dominating Willis' blog. But Willis does enjoy dmarks jerking him off, so it isn't an issue. In fact, he does this on a number of blogs I know of. rAtional nAtion uSA and Libertas and Latte are two others (I'm aware of) where he dominates and sucks up to the blog host.

And due to arguments with dmarks I've been banned from all three blogs. Although Les Carpenter of rAtional nAtion is currently allowing me to comment. A situation which may or may not last. But Willis Hart hates my guts, so my banning from his echo chamber is permanent.

BTW, this "circle jerk society" Mordechai refers to is also known as the Higher Ordered Person's Society (HOPS) by others.

On Being So Afraid of Uncomfortable Facts That You Use A Cutout to Cover Portions of Your Computer Monitor

The blog of Willis Hart is open to the public (not a private blog). That being the case, I read and I comment, as people often do on blog postings that interest them. Now, it is true that Mr. Hart banned me from his blog for some exceedingly stupid reason (quite some time ago... on 8/30/2012).

However, seeing as the reasoning behind the banishment was idiotic, I decided to ignore it and continue reading and commenting. He no longer publishes any comments I submit, but I do not let that deter me.

Now, get this... it seems that my comments on the Hartster's blog have made him so uncomfortable - in that I frequently disagree with what he's written and say so - that the poor guy has had to resort to extremely drastic measures to avoid the cognitive dissonance my refuting of his beliefs must have been causing.

Drastic measures as described by Mr. Hart in the following post...

Willis Hart: "Note to wd"... I have developed a system in which I no longer have to even accidentally see what you write - not a single word. I am using a 4.5 x 5.5 cutout which enables me to cover the comments section but which also allows me to see the author of the words, and when I see your name I promptly delete what I can properly assume to be more of your virulent idiocy. (6/1/2014 AT 8:27am).

"Virulent idiocy" is obviously what he calls truths that contradict the misinformation he'd rather believe. I don't know about you, but I think "virulent idiocy" is a good descriptor for actions - and commentaries describing actions - such as creating a fricking cutout to cover up your screen so you don't have to read facts you don't like.

Are actions like those described by Willis pathetic or what? BTW, if you're thinking that my continuing to comment on Mr. Hart's blog when he does not want me to constitutes "harassment", I disagree.

That I'm "harassing" him is an allegation Mr. Hart has actually made against me, BTW...

"This is Your Last Warning, wd"... I've asked you on more than several occasions to cease and desist with the comments and yet you continue to spam me with your partisan and knee-jerk idiocy. If I have to tell you again, I will file a complaint with the server on grounds of harassment. (9/15/2013 AT 3:43pm).

At first I thought he was joking. Or, rather I took it as an unintentional joke, given the fact that I have never "harassed" Willis Hart. Like I said, his blog is public and available to read by anyone. And I have NEVER targeted Willis "with behavior that is meant to alarm, annoy, torment or terrorize" him, which is what "harassment" actually is (according to FindLaw.com).

So, the "harassment" charge is simply ridiculous, which is why I ignored his "warning" and continued submitting comments. Fact is, the warning convinced me that I should not give up. Nobody likes being insulted, and I absolutely refuse to go away and allow these people to continue to talk about me behind my back.

Not that I'm mad or upset as one of the commenters speculated I might be...

Dennis Marks: I hear the sound of something like a very angry version of Yosemite Sam, stamping and swearing, from inside a hermetically sealed jar in a bunker 30 miles below the surface. (6/1/2014 AT 12:21pm).

Nope, I'm not doing any of that. The comments of these bloggers actually make me laugh. I wouldn't bother if I wasn't having fun with them. Yeah, I'll probably give up commenting on Mr. Hart's blog eventually, but not quite yet. I think I'm going to give it a while longer and see what happens.
